Procurement functional analyst

Summary: The role of Procurement Functional Analyst involves supporting S4 lifecycle project deployment phases, particularly focusing on procurement processes. The position requires extensive experience in direct procurement and intercompany processing, along with strong communication skills. The analyst will also engage in writing functional specifications and supporting ABAP developers, while being hands-on with MM configuration and integration with third-party software. Travel to client sites is required 1-2 times a month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support S4 lifecycle project deployment phases including Explore, Realize Build, Realize Test, and Deployment.
• Engage in procurement processes with a focus on Direct Procurement and Intercompany processing.
• Write functional specifications and conduct unit testing.
• Integrate with Production Planning and Order to Cash, supporting ABAP developers as needed.
• Work with the Make to Order business model and manage complicated supplier logistics.
• Configure MM with core PTP functionalities such as PR/PO, GR, Subcontracting, and Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Integrate with third-party software like Coupa.
• Utilize knowledge of S/4 HANA innovations including BRF+, analytical reports, and purchasing rebates.

• Over 10 years of consulting experience with procurement processes.
• Outstanding communication and written skills.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and unit testing.
• Hands-on experience with MM configuration and core PTP functionalities.
