Summary: The Procurement Data Analyst role involves supporting the development and delivery of supply chain sustainability insights and analytics for a globally respected client in the technology sector. This position requires collaboration with third-party partners and global procurement teams to enhance sustainability practices and compliance with regulations. The role is remote with occasional travel to Derby and is offered as a 6-month contract. Candidates must possess strong data analytics skills and an understanding of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with 3rd party partners and global procurement teams to onboard suppliers onto the sustainability insights platform.
- Develop measures and reporting capabilities to track onboarding progress.
- Provide supply chain sustainability analytics and identify opportunities for integration into Procurement IT platforms.
- Act as a sustainability analytics subject matter expert and develop training materials for procurement teams.
- Support the development of systems and data management capabilities for compliance with sustainability regulations.
- Collaborate with providers and supply chain management teams to deliver due diligence campaigns.
- Work with multiple stakeholders to deliver annual supply chain emissions calculations.
- Compile the 2025 group submission into the Ecovadis ratings platform.

We are looking for a Procurement Data Analyst for a 6 months contract (until the end of year) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Please note this position is going to be remote with some infrequent travelling to Derby.
Job description - the role
The Procurement Data Analyst will support the development and delivery of supply chain sustainability insights and analytics, essential to the delivery of our client's sustainability strategy and our compliance with existing and emerging regulation & related customer requirements.
As a Procurement Data Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with 3rd party partners (including Ecovadis) and our global procurement teams to onboard suppliers onto our sustainability insights platform.
- Develop measures and reporting capability to track onboarding progress.
- Provide supply chain sustainability analytics to the business including opportunities for the integration of sustainability analytics into Procurement IT platforms.
- Operate as a sustainability analytics subject matter expert to promote the adoption and leverage of insights, including the development of training material and support for our procurement teams.
- Support the development of systems and data management capabilities to enable compliance with existing and emerging sustainability regulations.
- Collaborate with 3rd party providers and supply chain management teams to deliver due diligence campaigns including conflict minerals, human rights and restricted chemicals
- Work across the business with multiple stakeholders to deliver annual supply chain emissions calculations
- Compile the 2025 group submission into the Ecovadis ratings platform.
What we require from the candidate:
Supply chain/Procurement: This individual need to have a good appreciation of procurement and operational supplier management. They need to understand the process principles, relationship dynamics and types of tools and systems at play in this environment. They will need to form good relationships with buyers based on respect and trust.
Data & analytics: The individual needs to have strong data & analytics capabilities and to enjoy working in a data rich environment. Capability to extract and manipulate data from different systems is critical
Preferred experience:
- Ecovadis (IT sustainability platform) We have training available, but time spent in the Ecovadis environment would be a significant benefit
- SAP Ability to source extract and manipulate raw SAP data would be an advantage
