A client with Kforce is seeking a Procurement/Contract Manager to join their team. This is a remote opportunity.
Summary:
The Procurement/Contract Manager conducts various types of research and analysis to support the business operations to an internal business segment, division, group or line of business. They will assist management to resolve business issues in an effective and productive manner. The candidate also designs, documents and re-engineers' business processes and publishes business metrics results.
Duties:
* Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
* Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner
* Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices
* Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI
* Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations
* Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities
* May train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures
* May perform special projects upon request and on occasion
* May provide coaching and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts
* Performs other related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
* Strong procurement knowledge
* Ability to understand and negotiate IT contracts, identify risks and provide recommendations
* Good financial acumen, ability to analyze procurement information/data and summarize with executive level recommendations/presentations
* Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint along with ability to capture meeting notes and possess consistent follow through to deliver results
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
