Summary: One of the country’s leading financial technology companies is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join their Global Procurement team in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights to drive smarter purchasing decisions and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with procurement leadership and cross-functional teams (finance, accounting, business systems, compliance, etc.) to develop analyses and documentation
- Build and present business cases and impact assessments to support strategic decision-making
- Evaluate existing business processes, systems, and datasets to identify improvement opportunities
- Gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Analyze large data sets using statistical and analytical techniques to uncover trends and insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for IT and systems teams
- Create detailed documentation such as user stories, process flows, and functional specs
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and performance against established goals
- Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience OR strong internship/graduate-level experience in business analysis, consulting, or procurement-related work
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
- Understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques
- Exposure to procurement, supply chain processes, or supplier management is highly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement tools (e.g., e-sourcing platforms) is a plus
- Experience or exposure to corporate travel management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to varied audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently in a remote environment
