Summary: We are looking for a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Business Process Lead to oversee and enhance the P2P lifecycle within the organization. The candidate should possess extensive experience in procurement, accounts payable, vendor management, and ERP systems, with a focus on process improvement and automation. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure efficiency and compliance in P2P processes. The ideal candidate will also lead digital transformation initiatives and provide insights through performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the P2P business process including purchasing, receiving, invoicing, payments, and vendor management.
- Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for P2P processes, identifying gaps and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Procurement, IT, and Operations to drive process efficiency and compliance.
- Define and maintain business process documentation, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead and support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Design and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure SOX compliance (if applicable).
- Provide insights through KPIs and dashboards for procurement spend, vendor performance, invoice cycle time, etc.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide training to end-users and procurement staff.
- Work with IT/business analysts to define system requirements and test new implementations or enhancements.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in P2P or procurement operations.
- Hands-on experience with one or more ERP/P2P systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow P2P, Coupa, Ariba).
- Strong understanding of procurement, accounts payable, and supplier management workflows.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma or similar).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
