Principal Machine Learning Engineer – UK & EMEA (Remote) Up to £1400/day (Inside IR35 for UK) 6–12 month contract (with intent to go perm) I'm searching for Principal ML Engineers with a strong background in either software engineering or data science. This is a new team, no legacy code, no red tape. Just real problems and a blank slate. We're looking for experienced engineers from DeepTech companies or AI-focused start-ups. You'll own projects end to end. Tech stack: Python, Azure, Pydantic, FastAPI, LlamaIndex, LangChain, CrewAI, Azure based LLM's. What you’ll do: Build and scale ML-powered products (these won’t sit on a shelf) Help shape the team and navigate ambiguity Work closely with internal and external stakeholders Find real-world use cases for GenAI and advanced ML What you bring: Strong ML and software/data science background Comfortable with agentic workflows and multi-agent systems A builder’s mindset - ship fast, test, improve Experience with vector embeddings and text-based projects Bonus: open-source work or Kaggle experience Interested?
