Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a leadership role in the Product Aligned Services practice for engagement execution.
  • Mentor team members of the Product Aligned Services practice engaged on your assignments on security strategy and architectures as well as consulting approach and skillsets.
  • Lead the successful delivery of complex engagements involving Palo Alto Networks technology that result in meaningful outcomes to large global enterprise and government customers.
  • Participate or lead customer-facing meetings, workshops, or other events related to assigned engagements.
  • Have expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following cybersecurity areas: security architecture, cloud security, remote access, SOC operations, networks, protocols, threat management, change management, vulnerability management, and overall cyber security best practices.
  • Lead oversight and review of client-facing engagement deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with client expectations.

Key Skills:

  • 10-plus years of cybersecurity experience with five or more years background as a practitioner, or industry-facing consultant.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Security, or related field experience.
  • Technical expert in core Palo Alto Networks Strata NGFW and SSE/SD-WAN across a variety of deployment scenarios.
  • Highest level of technical pre-sales & post-sales certification(s) focusing on NGFW and Strata SSE/SD-WAN (Prisma Access/SD-WAN).
  • Palo Certified Network Security Professional (Legacy PCNSE) (required).
  • SSE Engineer & SD-WAN Engineer Specialist certifications (preferred).
  • Cloud Security Professional (PCCSE) a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience as a project or task lead and working with professionals across organizations.
  • Experience defining and scoping consulting engagements, including level of effort preferred.
  • Experience leading multifunctional teams in the execution of complex security consulting engagements.
  • Knowledge of the various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and cybersecurity.
  • Extensive ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments while adjusting priorities.
  • Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and proven expertise in cybersecurity, with a consulting and/or technical background. Additionally, candidates will be experienced in developing and refining service offerings and methodologies, and in positioning them with Principal customer leaders. A diversified background is a plus, and expertise in security domains such as strategy, security architectures, vulnerability management, or others is required.
