Principal Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric
Contract | Outside IR35 | £550-£600/day | Remote-first
iO Associates client is recruiting 2 Principal Data Engineers to support a major greenfield data transformation programme built on a brand-new Microsoft Fabric platform. This initiative will establish the core data architecture, pipelines, and models that will underpin Power BI, enterprise analytics, and future change programmes through to the end of 2026.
This is not BAU or Legacy support. You'll be joining at the ground floor to help design and build a new, modern data foundation from scratch.
The Role
As a Principal Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and build data pipelines, models, and architecture using Microsoft Fabric
- Create analytics-optimised data models to support Power BI and reporting
