We are currently supporting a leading insurance organisation as they look to appoint an experienced professional to support their Pricing team on an interim basis.
The Role
- Review and rewrite complex SQL code snippets and large-scale codebases
- Support the re-code of pricing data extracts in line with agreed templates
- Complete end-to-end testing, validation and productionisation of data extracts
- Optimise SQL code, query performance and execution plans
- Support pipeline execution through Azure Data Factory
- Collaborate with pricing stakeholders to ensure data extracts meet business requirements
What You'll Need
- Advanced SQL experience, including dynamic SQL and code optimisation
- Strong experience reviewing, rewriting and testing complex SQL code
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including boards and repositories
- Experience using Azure Data Factory, including pipelines
- Experience with GIT or other version control software
- Ability to work independently and deliver quickly within a remote contract environment
