Summary: The PowerBuilder Developer/Programmer role involves developing applications using PowerBuilder and related technologies for the Minnesota Department of Health. The position is remote and requires expertise in PL/SQL, Git, and various programming frameworks. Candidates should be adept at working with legacy systems and updating code as necessary. This is a 12-month contract position outside of IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop PowerBuilder applications and maintain existing code.
- Write PL/SQL database procedures and manage SQL operations.
- Utilize PFC class libraries and Git for source code management.
- Work with Client Server technologies such as VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder.
- Update legacy technology and fix errors in existing code.
- Implement JavaScript and related frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) as needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience in PowerBuilder application development.
- Proficiency in writing PL/SQL database procedures.
- Familiarity with PFC class libraries.
- Knowledge of Client Server technologies (VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder).
