Summary: The PowerBuilder Developer/Programmer role at Radiant Digital, Inc involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing legacy PowerBuilder applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Address bugs, defects, maintenance, and enhancements for PowerBuilder applications, tracked via Jira.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve legacy PowerBuilder application issues with technical and business leads.
  • Perform unit and code testing following industry standards.
  • Support QA and UAT testing processes.
  • Manage source code, changes, and releases in line with established procedures.
  • Contribute to modernization and application upgrade projects.
  • Participate in team meetings, project planning, stand-ups, requirements and code reviews, sprint planning/reviews, and current state analysis.
  • Estimate effort and duration for assigned tasks.
  • Communicate status, issues, and roadblocks; collaborate with technical leads and SMEs to resolve challenges.
  • Support future state Java migrations/applications as assigned.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for staff.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in PowerBuilder application development.
  • Strong skills in writing PL/SQL database procedures.
  • Familiarity with PFC class libraries.
  • Experience with client-server development (PowerBuilder, VB, or Delphi).
  • Proficiency with Git for source code management.
  • Solid SQL skills, including CRUD operations and view creation.
  • Experience working with Oracle relational databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to update and maintain legacy technology/codebases.
  • Experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) is a plus.
