Summary: The PowerBI Developer role involves developing datasets, data models, and reports for an end-user client, with a focus on utilizing technologies such as Azure Data Bricks and Power BI. The position is remote and requires experience with Dynamics 365 or Dynamics AX platforms. The contract is initially for three months, with a daily rate of £500-£550 outside IR35. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex PowerBI solutions: Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced BI solutions using technologies such as Azure Data Bricks, Data Factory and Power BI to meet business requirements.
• Optimize data models and queries: Analyse data models and queries to optimize performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Ensure that all work is carried through the environments, source controlled with regularity and deployments packages are robust and well organised. Ensuring all conflicts in this area are merged/escalated effectively.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other members of the IT team to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity: Develop and implement data quality checks and data cleansing processes to ensure accurate and consistent data across all BI solutions.
• Identify, report, and fix material bugs and deficiencies in the tools used, utilising internal and external resources.
