Summary: The PowerBI Developer role involves developing financial reports using Power BI, primarily from the NetSuite platform. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a suite of finance and management reporting dashboards in Power BI using data from NetSuite ERP and wider ERP systems.
  • Build reporting to support the Standard Costing model and associated financial analysis.
  • Deliver practical Power BI training to Finance and FP&A teams to improve report development capability and user adoption.
  • Support the rollout of self-service reporting across the business by promoting best practices and enabling business users.
  • Work closely with the Data Engineering team to shape and validate semantic models for scalable reporting.
  • Assist with ad hoc analytical projects and reporting enhancements as required.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience designing and developing Power BI solutions, particularly for Finance and FP&A.
  • Strong DAX and data modelling expertise.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience translating business requirements into intuitive, high-quality reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and KPIs.
  • Experience working with NetSuite, including its underlying data structures (desirable).
  • SQL development experience (desirable).
  • Python experience for data analysis or automation (desirable).
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate report development, data modelling, or analytics (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Standard Costing (desirable).
  • Experience working alongside Data Engineering teams and developing semantic models (desirable).

PowerBI Developer – PowerBI,Report Developer, Reporting Developer, Developer, SQL, DAX, Python, Finance Reports, Financial Reports, Netsuite – £400 – £500 per day – Outside IR35 – UK Remote

Our end user client is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join them on a contract basis and develop financial reports from their NetSuite platform. NetSuite experience is not essential for this role but would be beneficial.

The role can be completed on a fully remote basis in the UK and will be outside IR35.
