Summary: The Associates are seeking an experienced PowerBI Developer Analyst to extract, analyze, and interpret data for comprehensive reporting, primarily focusing on the Global SAP S4/HANA ERP System. The role involves creating a framework for self-serve reporting and requires strong client-facing skills. This position is remote, with occasional office visits near Reading, and is classified as outside IR35. The initial term of the role is three months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing ad-hoc data extraction and transformation requests to support business needs for data visibility.
  • Supporting a new initiative for business self-serve analytics with the provision of common comprehensive and re-usable datasets.
  • Provision of visuals in Power BI to meet business reporting requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of technologies including SQL, Azure, and Databricks to compile underlying data models to support reporting.
  • Supporting the ingestion process and scheduling of source raw data tables into the data warehouse.
  • Liaison with the business and SAP Data Architect to understand data requirements for extraction in preparation for reporting.
  • Supporting the business with any general reporting issues, queries, and management of enhancement requests.
  • Maintenance and creation of key documentation to support BI and the reporting catalogue.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on report generation and utilization of Power BI as a global reporting solution.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience working with Power BI.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
  • Background in developing data cubes (SQL DW) to support self-serve reporting.
  • Experience working with SAP systems, specifically in reporting and data analysis.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.
  • Proven ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Great communicator with the ability to present complex problems in a simple manner to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
