Summary: The Power Systems Application Engineer role focuses on advanced software development for Power Systems Applications, specifically within EMS/SCADA environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for advanced Power Systems Application software development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate project/product commitments, including working with Electric Utilities or ISOs and TSOs on functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning, and delivery.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of work experience in customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems preferably e-terra AEMS.
- 5+ years of experience with C++, Java or other related languages.
- 5+ years of experience with Clients.
- AEMS Platform source design and development.
- 5+ years of experience with electric utility industry practices, including proficiency in Electric Transmission EMS / SCADA / Implementation and hands-on experience with Client Reliance (XA21) EMS/SCADA or equivalent SCADA systems.
- Good knowledge of Electric SCADA applications/Power DMS/TMS and experience in data modeling.
