Power System Engineer

Summary: The Power Systems Engineer role involves performing power system studies and collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams in a remote setting. The position requires expertise in PowerFactory and experience with dynamic vendor models for wind turbines and other technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform power system studies (static & dynamic) using PowerFactory
• Work with dynamic vendor models for SGRE wind turbines, STATCOMs, and SynCons
• Experience with PSCAD, DigSilent, and PowerFactory
• Align design criteria and outcomes with QA processes
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams (virtually)

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with PowerFactory
• National Grid Experience
• Able to work independently and meet project QA standards
• Laptop & software provided
