Position: Development Manager with Power Platform
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 year Contract
Working Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM HST (Hawaii Time)
Rate: $100/hr
Must Have Skills
Model-Driven Apps, Power Apps and management skills (Power platform with Dynamics 365 / SharePoint will not work for this role)
Required Skills & Certifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development, engineering management, or technical delivery leadership.
- Proven experience managing multiple development teams/pods in a large-scale, complex program.
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban) and scaling across teams.
- Hands-on experience with modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps collaboration.
- Experience improving engineering throughput, pipeline efficiency, and delivery predictability.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms and application development (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, ERP modernization).
- Experience in government or regulated environments (DHS/Federal/State preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Notes
- Experience with Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate) in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with DHS governance, IV&V, and compliance processes.
- Experience working closely with Release Management and environment promotion strategies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and pipeline automation tooling.
- Certifications: Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), SAFe, or equivalent
For both the Dev Manager and Tech Lead, the candidate's schedule needs to be flexible, with work responsibilities spanning portions of the morning, afternoon, and evening, with breaks throughout the day. The individual filling this role (Tech Lead and Dev Manager) will need to be comfortable working within a similar flexible schedule to effectively support the team.
