Summary: FDM is seeking a Power Platform Developer for a 6-month contract within the public sector, primarily working remotely with occasional visits to Bristol. The role requires at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Power Platform solutions, focusing on migrating InfoPath applications and creating workflows. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical guidance while driving the adoption of cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration process of existing InfoPath applications to PowerAutomate workflows.
- Ensure a seamless transition while maintaining functionality and data integrity.
- Create efficient and effective workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement automation solutions.
- Conduct thorough reviews of Power Automate workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.

- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to individuals seeking assistance.
- Work closely with the client on-site, based in Bristol, for a minimum of 2 days a week.
- Foster strong working relationships with client stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in configuring and working with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Experience with configuring and deploying Dynamics 365 applications.
- Familiarity with Power Platform testing tools.
- Practical experience integrating and using other data sources like SQL Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft Lists.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools for CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience creating and deploying Power BI solutions and dashboards.
- Proven ability to integrate Power Apps with external APIs or third-party systems.
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure services.

Our client is seeking a Power Platform Developer with at least 5 years’ experience to design, develop and implement Power Platform solutions based on established patterns and best practices. You will be working with development teams as well as directly with customers. The role will require you to assist in driving the adoption of cloud solutions using the Power Platform and provide technical advice to team members. - Familiarity with Power Platform testing tools, such as Power Apps Test Studio or other automated testing frameworks
- Practical experience integrating and using other data sources like SQL Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft Lists
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools for CI/CD pipelines, backlog management, and tracking progress
- Exposure to the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Forms, and Teams
- Experience creating and deploying Power BI solutions and dashboards
- Proven ability to integrate Power Apps with external APIs or third-party systems
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure services, especially PaaS offerings and Azure Integration Services
- Software development experience using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, TypeScript, and SQL Server
- Power Platform certifications (PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-500) are a plus
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and familiarity with agile practices and ceremonies
