Summary: The role of Power Platform Architect focuses on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) within a Microsoft consultancy, requiring expertise in architecture, delivery leadership, and hands-on design. The position involves defining solution architecture, guiding technical teams, and ensuring best practices across the Power Platform ecosystem. The role is remote but requires occasional travel to client sites. The contract is initially for 6–12 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end solution architecture across Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
- Lead architectural design across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service or Marketing solutions
- Define Dataverse data models, integration patterns and platform governance
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Provide technical leadership to delivery teams during implementation
- Ensure solutions follow Power Platform best practices, security models and ALM processes
- Support integration with Azure services, APIs and external enterprise systems
- Guide teams on performance, scalability and long-term maintainability
Key Skills:
- Strong experience delivering Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions
- 4+ years working as a Power Platform Architect
- Deep understanding of Dataverse architecture and platform capabilities
- Experience designing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and model-driven applications
- Knowledge of integration patterns across enterprise systems
- Experience working in consultancy or multi-client environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
- Experience with Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps) - Nice to Have
