Summary: The Power BI Technical Lead with Life Sciences experience is responsible for creating intuitive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, leveraging a strong background in Power BI and a passion for data visualization. The role requires expertise in building semantic models to ensure data accuracy and relevance, as well as transforming raw data into meaningful visualizations. The candidate must have a Life Sciences background and excellent communication skills. This position is fully remote and focuses on the E2E Labeling/Regulatory Data Hub and Reporting project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-level report wireframes through workshops.
- Leverage sample data and Power BI to create mockups.
- Finalize reports for MVP.
- Build silver ER diagram from RIM Reference Model.
- Build gold dimensional model.
- Create data mapping specifications.
- Create mock data structures in the development environment for report building.
- Leverage Agile Process to release reports in waves.
- Ingest needed data from FOCUS and other sources.
- Build dbt ETL for silver and gold models.
- Implement matching, data quarantine, and error handling for data joining.
- Implement fixes or updates from MVP usage.
- Perform SDLC activities for IQ, OQ, PQ.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for release management.
- Establish and transition support activities.

Project Name: E2E Labeling/ Regulatory Data Hub and Reporting
Project Scope:
Analysis and Design
Front end reporting:
- Workshops to create high-level report wireframes
- Leverage sample data and PowerBI to create mockups
- Finalize Reports for MVP
Back end reporting:
- Build silver ER diagram from RIM Reference Model

Reporting build:
- Create mock data structures in development environment to allow report build to start in parallel with ETL development
- Leverage Agile Process to release reports in waves as data comes online
