  • Create data models using Power Query (M) and DAX to support reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and validate outputs.
  • Optimize existing dashboards and visuals for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Maintain version control, documentation, and best practices for Power BI report development.
  • Troubleshoot issues with data refreshes, visuals, and user access.
  • Stay current with new Power BI features and visualization trends to continuously improve report capabilities.

Key Skills:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard and report development.
  • Proficiency in building interactive visuals using bar charts, line graphs, tables, matrix views, maps, KPIs, and other Power BI visual elements.
  • Strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse).
  • Experience working with data models, relationships, and calculated columns/measures.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, intuitive visual design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
