What will your day look like?
As a Power BI Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions
Build, enhance, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs
Develop scalable data models and reporting architectures that support business decision-making
Utilize Power BI Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, automation, and reporting capabilities
Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and validation across reporting and analytics platforms
Monitor and optimize reporting performance, dashboard responsiveness, and data processing efficiency
Perform advanced troubleshooting and production support, proactively resolving issues impacting business operations and service levels
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable reporting solutions
Maintain end-to-end ownership of reporting solutions, from data ingestion and transformation through visualization and validation
Support automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
Promote best practices around data governance, reporting standards, and enterprise analytics architecture
Partner with technical teams to support cloud-based data initiatives and reporting enhancements
You will be a good fit for this role if you have:
Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise solutions using Power BI
Experience creating complex dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive reports
Strong expertise in SQL Server, data modeling, and database design
Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure-based data services
Experience with Python for data processing, analytics, or automation
Experience working with PL/SQL and enterprise data integration processes
Knowledge of data integration tools such as Cozyroc or similar solutions
Strong understanding of enterprise reporting architecture and business intelligence best practices
Experience with data quality management, validation, and performance optimization
Ability to troubleshoot complex reporting and data pipeline issues
Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-visibility environment
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ownership mentality
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence platforms
Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics and development tools such as Power BI Copilot and GitHub Copilot
Background in cloud-based analytics and reporting environments
Experience designing enterprise-scale reporting architectures
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and reporting standardization initiatives
Experience supporting SLA-driven production environments
Exposure to analytics automation and intelligent reporting solutions
