Summary: Robert Half is looking for a Senior Data/BI Analyst on a contract basis to support a Finance & Accounting organization in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on driving automation and reporting through Power BI, Alteryx, and Excel workflows. This is a remote position with a contract duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards (25+ dashboards planned) to support financial reporting and investment account visibility.
  • Automate manual Excel workflows (journal entries, reconciliations, cadency reporting) using Alteryx and Power Query.
  • Partner with finance and IT/development teams to design, document, and deliver process improvements and automation.
  • Deliver 200-300 prioritized automation/reporting solutions out of ~700 total in scope.
  • Support remediation projects and ensure dashboards and data pipelines are accurate, sustainable, and client-facing.
  • Gather requirements from finance journal teams, document SOPs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Coach and upskill finance team members on adoption of more technical, automated processes.
