Power BI Developer (Healthcare) - Remote - W2 Contract

Summary: The Power BI Developer will play a crucial role in migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI for a large healthcare system on the West Coast. This position requires extensive experience in Power BI development, particularly in a healthcare environment, and involves analyzing and migrating a significant number of reports. The developer will also be responsible for building dashboards to support various healthcare business units. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing existing clinical, finance, and operational reports
• Determining opportunities to combine/subdivide reports for maximum accessibility
• Migrating reports manually into Power BI
• Building dashboards for healthcare business units (clinical, finance, operations)

Key Skills:

• 7+ years experience with Power BI development and migrations
• Recent experience (within last 3 years) with Tableau to Power BI migration
• Strong Power BI development (dataset design & data model design)
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau development within a Healthcare environment
• Proficiency in writing SnowSQL and SQL queries
• Solid Healthcare industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (nice to have)
• SnowSQL Certification (nice to have)
• Power BI Developer/Designer Certification (nice to have)
• Experience in Agile project environments (nice to have)
