Description
This is a part-time, fully remote development role with flexible, non-standard working hours for an individual who can work independently while collaborating with an established Power Platform development team.
We are looking for someone who can do more than create dashboards someone who understands the underlying data, can troubleshoot existing reporting solutions, and can turn project and stakeholder requirements into useful, accurate reporting tools.

Schedule
Flexible, non-standard working hours. The individual may generally manage their own work schedule while remaining available for scheduled project meetings, development coordination, and time-sensitive project needs.
Authorized hours are based on project needs and may fluctuate depending on workload, budget, and client requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for TMS.
- Work with Dataverse and Power Platform data to build reporting solutions.
- Develop data models, relationships, calculations, and DAX measures.
- Use Power Query for data preparation and transformation.
- Manage Power BI Service publishing, workspaces, refreshes, and permissions.
- Review, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Power BI reports and data models.
- Validate data for accuracy and consistency.
- Support data security and row-level access requirements.
- Complete assigned development tasks within established timelines.
- Coordinate with the CCG Development Manager and Lead Power Platform Developer.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer for completed work.
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates should have demonstrated experience with:
- 3+ years of Microsoft Power BI development experience
- Power BI Service, including publishing, workspaces, refreshes, and permissions
- Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform
- DAX and Power Query
- Data modeling, relationships, and data visualization
- Dashboard and report development
- Row-level security and report access
- Data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Experience improving and maintaining existing Power BI solutions
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience integrating Power BI with Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Power Platform components
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or related Microsoft data and analytics services
Work Samples
Candidates should be prepared to provide examples of Power BI reports, dashboards, or reporting solutions they have personally developed.
When possible, work samples should demonstrate experience with areas such as:
Power BI dashboard and report development
Data modeling
DAX calculations
Power Query
Dataverse or Power Platform integration
Complex or multi-source reporting
Improving or troubleshooting existing reporting solution
Candidates should also be prepared to briefly explain their specific role in developing the submitted work samples, the business need the solution addressed, the data sources involved, and any significant technical challenges they resolved.
