Summary: The Power BI Architect role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and architecting scalable reporting and analytical solutions, primarily using Power BI and Tableau. The position emphasizes strong communication skills and hands-on expertise in optimizing Power BI workloads and troubleshooting performance issues. The architect will be responsible for developing reports from various data sources and utilizing advanced data modeling techniques. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect highly scalable reporting and analytical solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
- Optimize Power BI premium workloads and perform capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot performance issues with Power BI Premium hosted reports.
- Develop reports against cloud and on-prem data sources.
- Work with Enterprise Gateway and manage data refreshes through service or REST APIs.
- Utilize Power BI Dataflows and perform data modeling using complex DAX calculations.
- Create Power BI Paginated reports.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in designing solutions with Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of capacity planning and optimizing Power BI workloads.
