Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and administer PostgreSQL and EnterpriseDB database environments.
  • Manage and support EnterpriseDB Postgres Distributed (PGD) clusters for high availability and replication.
  • Perform database deployments, migrations, patching, and version upgrades.
  • Monitor database health, availability, and performance using monitoring and administration tools.
  • Troubleshoot database issues, replication failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using PostgreSQL/EDB tools.
  • Configure and manage replication, clustering, failover, and disaster recovery solutions.
