Portfolio Manager

Summary: The Portfolio Manager will oversee large, complex IT or infrastructure programs, leading multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective project execution and portfolio management. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and extensive experience in program/project management within a Professional Services or Managed Services environment. The ideal candidate will also have a solid background in budgeting and financial reporting for multimillion-dollar programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large, complex, cross-functional IT or infrastructure programs.
• Ensure effective project execution and portfolio management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multimillion-dollar programs.
• Communicate complex ideas and information to various audiences and levels.
• Utilize program planning tools for governance and risk management.
• Foster strong leadership and strategic thinking within multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, or related field; Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• PMP or PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or ITIL certifications a plus.
• 10+ years in program/project management, with 5+ years leading large, complex programs.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and program planning tools.
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
