Summary: The PMS Consultant role focuses on supporting the rollout and enhancement of a new Property Management System for a leading global hotel group. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs and compliance standards. The consultant will also produce documentation and work closely with technical teams to deliver PMS features effectively. This is a remote position with a contract length of 12 months and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of PMS functionality within the hospitality sector, including reservations, billing, invoicing, taxation, and fiscal integration.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements related to PMS capabilities and compliance.
- Partner closely with Product, Software Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams, as well as external technology partners, to deliver PMS features and configurations successfully.
- Produce and maintain high-quality country-specific configuration and handover documentation, ensuring PMS capabilities are accurately enabled and aligned with business needs.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant focused on Property Management Systems in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and PMS workflows, including financial and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple regions.
- Meticulous documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working remotely within a collaborative, distributed team environment.
