Summary: The Platform/Linux Engineer role involves supporting and maintaining the Linux server estate for a leading financial services organization. The position is fully remote and requires expertise in Red Hat Linux and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) using Ansible. The engineer will be responsible for managing the operational platform and collaborating with various departments on infrastructure projects. Engagement is through an umbrella company only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting and maintaining a Linux server estate for Operational Platform
• Supporting ongoing projects and implementing new infrastructure into datacentres
• Root cause analysis and remediation of issues
• Work closely with depts. to estimate work, manage domain scope, risks and issues etc.
