Summary: The Platform Engineer for Pyramid Analytics is responsible for leveraging in-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms and Azure services to optimize and manage SDLC processes. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools and expertise in infrastructure as code, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The position can be performed onsite in NYC or remotely, with a focus on collaboration within cross-functional teams. Candidates should have significant experience in DevOps, particularly with Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms Pyramid Analytics.
  • Implement and manage Azure DevOps tools including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards.
  • Optimize Azure services such as Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Storage.
  • Employ infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Script using languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Manage and optimize SDLC processes for BI applications.
  • Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Utilize version control systems and branching strategies effectively.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Integrate testing automation frameworks into pipelines.
  • Monitor and log using tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
