Platform Engineer - AWS | EKS | Terraform
RED Global are supporting a major European organisation undergoing large-scale cloud platform growth and are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on a fully remote basis.
This is a hands-on role focused on building and improving internal platforms, cloud infrastructure, automation tooling and developer enablement capabilities. You'll be working within a modern AWS environment, helping engineering teams deploy and operate services at scale.

Key Skills Required:
- Strong commercial experience with AWS
- Proven experience building and operating Amazon EKS environments
- Advanced Terraform expertise, including reusable modules and production-grade infrastructure
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go or similar
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of serverless and event-driven AWS services such as:
- Lambda
- SQS
- SNS
- EventBridge
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- AWS networking, security and IAM experience
- Ability to troubleshoot across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking and deployment pipelines
Desirable:
- AWS Organizations and multi-account environments
- Enterprise-scale platform engineering experience
- Security, governance and compliance exposure
- Hybrid cloud or on-premise infrastructure experience
- Media, broadcasting or digital content industry experience
