Key Responsibilities:

This is a high-impact, 6-month contract for a Platform Engineer with an active SC Clearance to drive the deployment and security of enterprise-grade data platforms. You will be at the heart of a mission-critical project, leveraging Terraform and Azure DevOps to build robust, scalable environments for advanced analytics.
The Role
- Lead the automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable environments.
- Architect and manage sophisticated Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows for public sector applications.
- Implement containerisation strategies using Docker to optimize workload portability and efficiency.
- Integrate security scanning tools like Trivy into build pipelines to ensure all deployments meet rigorous security standards.
- Collaborate with data engineers to configure and optimize Databricks environments for large-scale data processing.
What You'll Need
Mandatory:
- Active SC Clearance (Security Cleared) and prior experience delivering projects within the UK Public Sector.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deep knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Demonstrated experience configuring Databricks and managing big data platform components.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash (Python is highly desirable) combined with expert Git-based version control knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and vulnerability scanning tools such as Trivy or similar DevSecOps technologies.
