Summary: The Platform Administrator role is focused on supporting the AI team by managing and maintaining essential platforms, specifically the LangGraph platform and Weaviate database. The position requires expertise in Python and data engineering to assist in application development and ensure a reliable environment for AI initiatives. The role is remote but based in London, with a contract duration of 6 months plus potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain LangGraph platform and Weaviate database on VM and/or OCP environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability, ensuring high uptime and quick issue resolution.
- Implement and maintain robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Manage user access, security, and permissions for platform components.
- Provide technical support to users and respond to incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Automate deployment and management tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to optimize resource usage and cost.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines in Python for data ingestion, processing, and transformation.
- Integrate data sources with Weaviate and LangGraph for advanced analytics and AI applications.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all pipelines.
- Support the team in leveraging generative AI capabilities using Python.
- Develop scripts and tools for data analysis, model training, and deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI and recommend best practices.
Key Skills:

In addition, you will assist the team with application development, leveraging your Python and data engineering skills to help build and optimize AI-driven solutions. Your expertise in infrastructure and data management will ensure the team has a reliable, scalable, and high-performing environment for their AI initiatives.
