Summary: The PL/SQL Developer role involves developing and maintaining complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions while optimizing SQL queries for high-volume environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries for high-volume, mission-critical environments
- Perform SQL query tuning, execution plan analysis, and index optimization
- Utilize Oracle performance tools: AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF
- Collaborate with DBAs and developers to ensure optimal database performance
- Plan and execute Oracle database upgrades (e.g., 12c/19c to 23c)
- Ensure minimal/zero downtime during migrations and upgrades
- Conduct code reviews and enforce database development best practices
