PL/SQL Application Developer III

Summary: The PL/SQL Application Developer III role involves remote development work focused on PL/SQL for medium to large projects that support Client Solutions' business. Candidates must have a strong understanding of Oracle and PL/SQL, with responsibilities including software development, performance assessment, and documentation. The position requires collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a preference for candidates in the EST or PST time zones. The contract duration is over 16 months, with potential travel for quarterly meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PL/SQL development for medium to large projects.
• Support preparation of new systems for account growth.
• Conduct full range of project software activities including requirements discovery, design, development, deployment, and documentation.
• Assess and correct performance issues with SQL & PL/SQL.

Key Skills:

• 4 year college degree in technical field or at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of Oracle database technologies 9i, 10g, 11g.
• At least 5 years of PL/SQL experience including creating/modifying tables, packages, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc.
• Experience with assessing SQL and PL/SQL performance including use of explain plans and TKPROF.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and a team player with proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Unix/Linux preferred.
