PKI Security Architect

Summary: The role of PKI Security Architect requires an experienced cybersecurity professional with expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and encryption technologies. The candidate will lead the design and implementation of PKI solutions, ensuring secure integration within a broader cybersecurity framework. A strong background in cybersecurity architecture and hands-on experience in managing HSMs is essential for this position. The role is remote and requires SC Security Clearance, classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of PKI solutions in secure environments.
• Support migration from existing PKI to a new PKI infrastructure for the Smart Meter Solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure integration of PKI within the cybersecurity framework.
• Manage and maintain HSMs, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance on encryption standards, certificate lifecycle management, and secure key storage.
• Work with cybersecurity architects and engineers to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in PKI, HSM, encryption, and digital certificate management.
• Deep understanding of PKI architecture and design principles.
• Proven experience with HSMs in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks.
• Experience with IBM PKI solutions is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
