Summary: The PKI Architect role involves designing, building, and deploying scalable systems in both on-premises and cloud environments. The position requires strong expertise in Public Key Infrastructure and Key Management, along with scripting abilities. The role is fully remote and requires current SC clearance. The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with small teams to enhance existing client solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy scalable and fault-tolerant systems in on-premises and cloud offerings.
- Work in an Agile manner within small, dedicated, and collocated teams.
- Integrate and build solutions using cloud configuration management and version control tooling.
- Create low-level designs and review high-level designs, providing feedback.
- Participate in re-engineering existing client solutions to leverage cloud benefits.
- Build and refresh core components of Public Key Infrastructure and cloud infrastructures.
- Engineer and develop scripts, code, and configurations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders.
- Suggest improvements to increase value and focus on automation of solutions.
Key Skills:
- Solid Public Key Infrastructure experience.
- Solid Key Management experience, including BYOK and HYOK.
- Solid Certificate Management and Automation Experience.
- Experience in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, REST API, JSON).
- Current SC clearance is essential.
- Understanding of virtualization principles, Infrastructure as a Service, and networking.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within teams.
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset with a desire to build, automate, and improve.

The Key and Certificates Services Senior Consultant will be designing, building, and deploying scalable and fault tolerant systems in on Premises and Cloud Offerings.
Where the role may require flexibility, they will mostly work in an Agile manner in small dedicated and collocated teams, they may also be required to work as part of a larger team.
The SME should have coding/Scripting ability and an understanding of development processes and tools. They will be required to integrate and build solutions using cloud configuration management and version control tooling. They will have a strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and Key Management and a good understanding of Virtualization principals, Infrastructure as a Service and Networking.

- Build and rollout Public Key Infrastructure and Infrastructure and Environments for multiple clients.
- Engineer and develop scripts, code, and configurations.
Experience required:
- Solid Public Key Infrastructure experience.
- Solid Key Management experience, including BYOK and HYOK.
- Solid Certificate Management and Automation Experience.
- Experience in Scripting in (ie, PowerShell, REST API, PowerShell, JSON).
