This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for Masters-level physicists who want to put their expertise to meaningful use, on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Design challenging, well-constructed physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and more
- Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate clear physical reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and solution quality
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve evaluation benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI reason better through quantitative problems
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- Strong command of advanced physics concepts and problem-solving across multiple domains
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating correctness and reasoning quality
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or academic assessment design
- Familiarity with AI or large language model workflows
- Background spanning multiple physics subfields
