Summary: The role of a Remote Physician at ADHDAdvisor.org involves providing holistic mental healthcare, including the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, primarily through telehealth services. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic mental healthcare to patients, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management.
- Prescribe stimulant medication where clinically appropriate, along with regular follow-ups.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and follow best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following legal and ethical standards.
- Help shape treatment philosophy and contribute to developing clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including clinical audits, peer review, and outcome monitoring.
Key Skills:
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: FL, ID, IN, NE, NM, NC, SD, UT, VT.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).
- Active DEA License.
- Experience prescribing stimulant medication, preferably on a telehealth platform.
- Experience in diagnosing and treating adult ADHD.
- A private and professional environment for conducting sessions.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Reliable Internet connection.
- Currently residing in the US.
