Summary: The role involves hiring two experienced developers, one specializing in PHP and the other in EDI, to support ongoing projects aimed at enhancing efficiency through automation and process improvements. The developers will work on PHP cleanup, manage documentation, and assist in integrating customer and supplier systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Work on PHP cleanup and enhancement projects.
- Manage and adjust documentation for pricing and back-end issues.
- Support automation of manual events to improve efficiency.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining customer and supplier integrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Configure and maintain server environments to support diversion control software.
- Implement and manage Git for version control, including the setup of dependent software.
- Conduct training sessions to equip the development team with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Design and develop customer applications and integrations using PHPStorm.
- Configure backend systems to ensure proper data handling and database connections.
- Assess and recommend front-end technologies to align with best practices.
- Oversee API development and integration processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development issues to minimize downtime.
Key Skills:
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with EDI development (TrueCommerce preferred, but all EDI backgrounds considered).
- Willingness to learn and train on in-house software.
- Hands-on experience with Workato and additional EDI tools.
- Solid background in PHP development, debugging, and cleanup.
- Ability to collaborate with team members to modernize and streamline applications.
- Experience working in dynamic environments where automation and integration are priorities.
- At least 7 years of experience in server setup and software development team management.
- Proficiency in Git for version control and backend configuration.
- Extensive experience with PHPStorm/JetBrains and related tools.
- Strong skills in developing customer applications and integrations using PHPStorm.
- Solid knowledge of backend development and database connections, including SQL Server.
- Proven ability to work effectively in mid-sized or larger organizations.
