Performance Test Engineer

Summary: The Performance Test Engineer role is a 12-month remote position with occasional travel to London, focusing on automating and improving manual processes through innovative solutions. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in Java and/or Python, along with experience in performance testing and reporting. The position requires familiarity with tools such as JMeter, JIRA, and Confluence, as well as a basic understanding of Grafana and Ansible. The role is classified as umbrella only and requires BPSS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate and improve manual processes using various tools to enhance efficiency in repetitive tasks and complex analysis jobs.
• Conduct performance testing and reporting, including basic performance diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Utilize Java and/or Python for performance testing tasks.
• Run Ansible playbooks and utilize Grafana for monitoring and analysis.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with performance testing and reporting.

Salary (Rate): £434.00 per day

• We are looking for candidates that are always looking for creative and innovative ways to automate and improve manual processes using any tools at their disposal, in order to accelerate both repetitive tasks and complex analysis jobs.
• Candidates should be familiar with Java and/or Python and have some knowledge of performance testing and reporting, including basic performance diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with running Ansible playbooks is desirable along with at minimum a basic understanding of Grafana
