A prestigious organisation is looking for a Senior Technical HCM PeopleSoft Support for a remote role based in Rome. This is a short-term assignment from January to March 2025, with potential for extension based on performance and budget availability.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide user support for technical issues in PeopleSoft HCM through an internal ticketing system, ensuring users are updated on progress.

  • Debug issues, identify root causes, and deliver solutions.

  • Develop technical resolutions for user issues using PeopleCode, SQL scripts, and workflow adjustments.

  • Address performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve process efficiency.

  • Support testing of new patches and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) releases.

  • Comply with security protocols and procedures, especially during production migrations.

  • Provide necessary information to internal and external auditors or for other reviews.

  • Offer post go-live support for solutions deployed in production.


Technical Requirements:



  • At least 8 years experience working with PeopleSoft HCM modules, version 9.X or higher.

  • Proficient in PeopleTools 8.5x and PeopleCode, including application packages and workflows.

  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft security components, including setup and modification.

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills, especially in supporting non-technical user groups.

  • Experience in developing technical solutions for PeopleSoft HCM modules.

  • Familiarity with approval workflows, integration broker messages, and component interfaces.

  • Knowledge of Cloud SaaS integration solution design is preferred.
