Summary: The role of Peoplesoft HCM Lead at Volitiion IIT Inc. involves leading the implementation and enhancement of PeopleSoft HCM modules while serving as a remote Business Analyst and Functional Technical Lead. The position requires extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM functionalities and modules, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The consultant will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment of applications with business needs and facilitating requirements gathering sessions. This role is critical for supporting existing modules and developing new functionalities to meet evolving business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
- Develop functional architectures models to meet evolving business requirements.
- Conduct process improvement reviews, analyzing system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel needs.
- Map business processes to corresponding PeopleSoft functionalities.
- Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
- Define data flow and ensure integration between business processes and systems.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate and coordinate project deliverables with other groups for Performance Management, etc.
- Collaborate with application designers to complete system enhancement designs.
- Design and develop reports for HCM users.
- Participate in testing of new functionalities, including end-to-end testing and system integration testing.
- Assist the team lead in defining staffing, responsibilities, and schedules for system enhancements. Identify cross-team issues and coordinate their resolution.
- Develop PeopleSoft queries to meet reporting needs.
- Write complex DML and DQL SQL scripts for database queries.
Key Skills:
- A minimum of 10 years experience and expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Functional.
- A minimum of 10 years PeopleSoft HCM Technical experience.
- A minimum of 10 years experience and expertise in PeopleSoft HCM modules such as HR, Compensation, Position Management, Talent Acquisition, ESS/MSS, Performance, Learning Management, and more.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementations (design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment).
- Ability to translate customer requirements into functional and technical designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, address, and escalate risks and issues.
- 10+ years of experience in building moderate to complex PeopleSoft queries.
- 10+ years of extensive experience writing DQL and DML SQL scripts.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
