Summary: The PeopleSoft HCM Functional Lead at CherryRoad is responsible for consulting with clients to define requirements, leading project teams, and serving as a subject matter expert in functional areas. The role involves conducting requirement gathering sessions, analyzing existing systems, and ensuring client satisfaction. The position requires extensive knowledge of the HCM module and PeopleSoft, along with strong communication and organizational skills. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consults with clients to ascertain and define requirements.
- Research and analyze existing systems and processes; identifying data and process flows and integration points; articulate modification risks and barriers; recommending project approaches.
- Effectively conducts Requirement Gathering and Fit/Gap meetings with the client.
- Leads project team and initiatives when called upon.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas, and serves as a lead functional consultant on projects.
- Coordinates directly with the customer to ensure that a high level of satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
- Transfers knowledge to the client.
- Maintains knowledge of current technologies and practices in professional area to assist with consulting initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Extensive working knowledge of the HCM module, completing at least two full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.
- 5 -7 years PeopleSoft experience.
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x.
- Consulting experience.
- Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a project team.
- Ability to travel nationwide.
- Public sector experience preferred.
