Summary: The PeopleSoft HCM Functional Consultant role requires extensive experience in both functional and technical aspects of PeopleSoft HCM, focusing on various modules. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing functional architectures, and ensuring system enhancements align with business needs. Strong analytical skills and collaboration with stakeholders are essential for success in this position. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis, planning, and requirements definition for new PeopleSoft HCM functionality.
- Develop functional architectures models to meet evolving business requirements.
- Conduct process improvement reviews, analyzing system functionality, operations, logistics, and personnel needs.
- Map business processes to corresponding PeopleSoft functionalities.
- Ensure applications align with business needs and collaborate with process owners to resolve issues.
- Define data flow and ensure integration between business processes and systems.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and user design sessions with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application designers to complete system enhancement designs.
- Design and develop reports for HCM users.
- Participate in testing of new functionalities, including end-to-end testing and system integration testing.
- Assist the team lead in defining staffing, responsibilities, and schedules for system enhancements.
- Identify cross-team issues and coordinate their resolution.
- Develop PeopleSoft queries to meet reporting needs.
- Write complex DML and DQL SQL scripts for database queries.

- A minimum of 10 years experience and expertise in PeopleSoft HCM Functional.
- A minimum of 10 years PeopleSoft HCM Technical experience.
