PeopleSoft HCM Developer

Summary: The PeopleSoft HCM Developer role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM development and API integration. The position involves leading the technical design and implementation of API integrations, ensuring effective data exchange between PeopleSoft HCM and third-party systems. The developer will also document processes and collaborate with peers for code reviews and testing. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, build, and unit testing of API integrations.
• Develop bidirectional data exchange between PeopleSoft HCM and vendor systems.
• Configure mapping and setup tables for data conversion and business logic.
• Document all work, including technical and functional specifications.
• Convert existing and integrate new third-party forms/pages that may replace PeopleSoft processes.
• Collaborate with peers for code review and testing before user acceptance testing.
• Work independently to implement and troubleshoot API integrations.

Key Skills:

• 5 or more years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM development and API integration.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft Integration Broker, REST Web services, and JSON structures.
• Experience with building API integrations between PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and third-party solutions.
• Experience with PeopleSoft App Designer, PeopleCode, App Engine, and Component Interface.
• Experience with oAuth2 authentication, encryption, and security protocols.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and business logic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
