PeopleSoft Grants Consultant - REMOTE

Summary: We are looking for a skilled PeopleSoft Grants Consultant to assist in the implementation and optimization of PeopleSoft Grants Management solutions. The consultant will collaborate with clients to enhance their grant management processes and ensure effective deployment of the system. This role requires a deep understanding of PeopleSoft functionality and the ability to provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of PeopleSoft Grants Management solutions based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements related to grants lifecycle, including application, award, management, reporting, and compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices in PeopleSoft Grants functionality, including budgeting, proposal development, award setup, grant accounting, and reporting.
• Configure PeopleSoft Grants modules to meet business needs and ensure integration with other PeopleSoft modules such as Financials, Project Costing, and Procurement.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support troubleshooting of functional and technical issues.
• Develop functional documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Provide post-implementation support, resolve user issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Stay up to date with PeopleSoft updates, patches, and new releases relevant to Grants Management.
• Collaborate with technical teams (developers, database admins) for customizations, interfaces, and integrations as required.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Grants Consultant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Grants Management modules and related business processes.
• Experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and SQR reports is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a client-facing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
