Summary: The PeopleSoft Functional Consultant role involves performing business analysis and facilitating communication between business and IT teams, primarily focusing on PeopleSoft FSCM modules such as General Ledger and Travel and Expense. The consultant is expected to possess strong SQL skills and a basic understanding of AWS and UNIX, while also driving meetings and coordinating with various stakeholders. The position is fully remote, catering to clients in the EST timezone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess knowledge of PeopleSoft Technical and experience in Support and Enhancement projects.
- Competent in Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM with functional understanding of modules– General Ledger, Travel and Expenses, Account Payable, Asset Management.
- Understand accounting concepts and entries in the relevant modules.
- Demonstrate good SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with PS Query.
- Drive meetings/sessions with business teams.
- Coordinate with Customer & Cognizant onsite/offshore resources.
- Exhibit excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Identify pain points and recommend best practices.
- Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team.
- Coordinate with Business Process Owners and Application Owners for inputs.
- Remediate production defects and coordinate with L1 support team.
- Knowledge of People Tools, AWE, ExceltoCI, People code, and Integration broker is advantageous.
- Develop and perform Unit Test scripts.
- Adhere to IT Governance policy and project timelines.
- Basic understanding of AWS and UNIX is preferable.
