Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and modify software enhancements and/or new applications.
  • Complete SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software development lifecycle.

  • Support launched applications in the production environment and assist with production support.
  • Participate in a weekly rotating schedule to support P1 issues outside of normal business hours.

Key Skills:

  • BS degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years Software Engineering experience within a medium to large IT organization; 3+ years with MS in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in Integration technology (API, web services, etc.) and multiple programming or scripting languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML).
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in database concepts and ability to write complex queries, highly skilled in SQL.
  • Strong preference for experience in ERP/SaaS for Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Billing, PO) or extensive knowledge of multiple enterprise applications.
  • Experience in various software development methodologies (agile/hybrid/waterfall) and knowledge of business systems software.
  • PeopleSoft Technical Experience is a plus.
  • Good knowledge and experience in AWS concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Ability to interact and communicate complex technical information to less-technical users.
  • Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts and design documents.
  • Ability to design business solutions for new processes and implement complex enhancements.
  • Experienced in mentoring and leading junior software engineers.

Our team builds on and supports the Field and Global Financials operations, enhancements and projects, currently in PeopleSoft 9.x. Our applications are built on PeopleSoft and use API integrations, Lambda, AWS, automation and many other tools for integration and file/documents transfers. The group is responsible for several critical integrations that the team built, and supports involving PeopleSoft Financials with PeopleSoft HCM, Workday, Salesforce, and many other applications. The future roadmap includes replacing these PeopleSoft systems with Workday.

A successful Software Engineer III candidate will analyze, design, build, test, implement and modify software enhancements and/or new applications. Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Integration technology (API, web services, etc.); Multiple programming or scripting language (c#, Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML interfaces), building/modifying programs for a mid to large size application
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on database concepts, ability to write complex queries is required, highly skilled in SQL
  • Strong preference for applicants with experience in ERP/SaaS for Financial modules(AP, AR, GL, Billing, PO) or extensive in-depth knowledge of multiple enterprise applications
  • Experience in a variety of software development methodologies (agile/hybrid/waterfall), knowledge of business systems software and software development lifecycle
  • PeopleSoft Technical Experience a plus
  • Good knowledge and experience in AWS concepts a plus
